William R. Kerivan is a trained economist and attorney specializing in contract administration, contract interpretation, risk management, conflict management, procurement management, construction project insurance and bonds, value engineering and partnering. Mr. Kerivan has wide experience in the power industry, having worked on eight nuclear plant projects, as well as cogeneration and gas powered plants. Mr. Kerivan is well respected in the United States defense and national security industries, and has considerable experience in large number defense projects. He has served global government agencies and private owners and engineers and contractors for 35 years. He performs Management Consulting and Risk Management on behalf of institutional, industrial, public and private owners, contractors and manufacturers globally. Mr. Kerivan has served as the Competition Advocate (the senior management position responsible procurement) for the Panama Canal Commission, an Administrative Judge with the U.S. Veterans Administration Board of Contract Appeals, and was the author of regulation of vessel construction, offshore oil exploration and deep-sea diving with the U.S. Coast Guard. He conducts international training programs in contract administration, risk management, claims management, dispute resolution and project controls for global owner and contractors in the infrastructure, transportation, resource, power, oil and gas, defense, engineering, contraction, building service and manufacturing industries. He regularly serves internationally as an arbitrator and member of dispute review boards for engineered and constructed projects.
