Jack Dignum

Jack L. Dignum brings a different perspective to the management cadre as a degreed Industrial Psychologist. Using that education and experience base, for over 30 years Mr. Dignum has examined and consulted on the human elements of project management, most particularly how project management systems can best be designed and implemented to enable individuals to proactively manage projects rather than simply reacting to project problems once they have manifest. That integration of human factors to management systems has been developed, tested and refined by Mr. Dignum during his 30 years of experience in the construction industry, during which he has worked for government agencies, owners and contractors. For the past seven years he has performed management and Risk Management audits globally. He developed the system of global and country Industry Best Practices and standards of care that Pegasus GHI employs on behalf of its clients. He has served clients globally in “hands-on” capacities and more recently in the development and evaluation of systems, processes and procedures. He headed the Aker Kvaerner’s Project Controls, Subcontracting, and Contract Administration Divisions where he had continuous input into projects from the bids and estimates to lessons learned. While at Kvaerner E&C (now Aker Kvaerner) Mr. Dignum developed and led a complete twelve module project management training course which was required for any Kvaerner Project Manager prior to receiving certification as a Project Manger. He was one of the original developers and authors of Kvaerner E&C Risk Management program.  Mr. Dignum has published and presented papers on project management and has provided extensive training on Project and Risk Management around the world. Mr. Dignum has been accepted as an International Certified Forensic Claims Consultant by the American Academy of Cost Engineers.
