Megaproject Risks /

Alaska LNG Project

Pegasus-Global was engaged by the Alaskan State Legislature to provide guidance on the risks associated with megaprojects, including specifically potential risks associated with the proposed Alaska LNG project. This transformative project seeks to commercialize Alaska’s North Slope natural gas resources, providing the State with additional revenue streams and securing supply for domestic customers. With an immense size and scope, involving over 700 miles of pipeline along with a gas treatment plant and LNG production facility, early estimates on this project have ranged from $45-$55 billion. The structure of the project owners and developers has also evolved in the decade-plus that this project has been in development.

Pegasus-Global’s scope included presentations to the Alaska State Legislature by Mr. Clark and Mr. Miller, which are available at the below links.
